AnyBackup is Apple MFi-certified auto-backup device
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐅𝐢 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦?
MFi stands for “Made for iPhone, iPad or iPod”. If you own an Apple device, you’ve probably seen the “Made for iPhone, iPad or iPod” label on power banks, headphones and other accessories.
The point of the MFi program is to set technical standards that ensure product safety and compatibility with Apple devices. Hence, there is a need to ensure that accessories meet certain safety standards.
There are actually two types of MFi licenses:
a. MFi Development Licensee (Importer)
b. MFi Manufacturing Licensee (Chinese supplier)
Hence, we need to obtain an MFi Development license, as we get to work on the product specification and prototype of AnyBackup.
Obtaining a developer license is not enough. Both HiQ and the factory must be licensed.
HiQ already passed their screening process to enroll.
We send AnyBackup to Apple to censor, then they give permission for the product to get the sticker “Made for iPhone, iPad or iPod”
So you can be assured of the quality of AnyBackup. HiQ will launch this product soon.
